Jamie's Ramblings

Hey. I'm just sitting here listening to my Joe Diffie CD & wishing that this day would go by a little quicker. It's not a bad day or anything... but I'm just eager for the long weekend & the 4th of July. We usually don't do much for this particular holiday but this year I think we're gonna go out & actually partake in one of the local celebrations. Lol... usually we just watch "Pop Goes The Fourth" (the Boston Pops) on television so this should be a nice change of pace.

I went swimming again today & this time I actually came back with a bit of a tan (& possibly a very small sunburn). Lol... the only prob is that I got this bad burn a few months ago & every time I tan since then there's this one part of my arm that tans, & the other part doesn't... so I look a bit silly. But I'm hoping to even it out a little better sometime soon (even if I have to do it with the artificial stuff). I was hoping that if we went earlier to the pool that it would be a little more vacant... but this time there were 2-3 times as many people... which make sit harder to do laps & when I relax I feel sort of stupid floating around the pool on my back with a bunch of little kids staring at me.
