[Error: unknown template qotd]Actually, I'm not all about the Thanksgiving food. Not a big fan of Turkey or Ham... They don't "disgust" me, just not my favorites. I guess one thing I really don't like are cranberries, way too tart for me.

I do, however, like mashed potatoes, stuffing, and greenbeans. That's pretty much what my Thanksgiving meal is all about, lol. OH, and the pie! Gotta have the pie (but not pumpkin pie, don't like that either, haha).

I'm sure I could still be a happy person if Star Trek had never existed (*cringe*). I mean, it's something I quite enjoy (understatement of the century)... but there would be other things to obsess over (like Stargate) and I would have never come to know the love that Trek is... so I wouldn't know what I was missing.

It's hard to imagine my life without it though. I literally grew up with it and I've met a lot of amazing people because of it (including about 3/4 of my friends list on here). It decorates my walls and lines my bookshelves. A lot of my vacations are even planned around it (conventions). So yeah, I could live without it... but I don't want to.

[Error: unknown template qotd]When I woke up that morning, I heard something going on in the tv in the living room... so I switched mine on and saw what had taken place. So much confusion about what was going on... Scary scary day. Everything suddenly felt very unsafe... It was nice though, that everyone kind of came together, was a bit nicer to each other... at least for a little while. It's a shame people only remember to do that when something tragic happens.

Still to this day, there's a little alarm that goes off in my head when I hear a low flying plane. I know it's silly... but it's there.

My thoughts go out to the friends and families of the heroes and victims of 9/11.

Star Trek: Voyager. Why? Because it ended far too abruptly for my tastes.... I want C/7 gone... and I want J/C to gaze longingly into each other's eyes and admit their feelings ~~followed by a passionate kiss and many pretty babies~~. Yes, it really is all about the ships for me, lol. But yeah, they left so much up in the air... I want to see what happened to everyone. I know there are the books, and God bless Christie Golden, but it's not the same.

[Error: unknown template qotd]I think I would pick my Grandmother on my father's side. I never got to meet her, she died before I was born... but there are quite a few interests that we share, things that my father didn't influence me on... so I know that they must come from her. And I wouldn't want to go out anywhere to eat... Everyone says she was a great cook, so I'd love it if I got to try out her Country Fried Steak (because supposedly nobody else makes it as good as hers). It would just be nice to sit & chat, get to know her (& of course to get her recipe, lol).

[Error: unknown template qotd] Well, I have a few... but I'd say my longest running habit is twirling my hair. I've been doing that since I was like 2... usually when I'm tired or bored. So I have this poor little frazzled piece of hair on the left side of my head (commonly referred to as my "twirly" when I was a kid) that's just been knotted & broken to death, lol.

I'm actually twirling my hair right now... I'm thinkin' it's a lost cause.

[Error: unknown template qotd] Oh wow... I honestly don't remember (& I don't have it on here anymore, so I can't check). Judging from the time period I joined though, it was probably an icon of either Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride, or Brad Paisley. The following icon is the oldest one I currently have on my list... and for some background info, the guitar in the background is from a photo of a concert of Brad Paisley's that I went to.

& I'm using my current default icon because John Sheppard is hot & I enjoy looking at him, lol.

Actually, she had something called a "deadjournal" at the time, lol... but she said that there was something called a livejournal as well. So I went with that instead. The whole journaling thing looked like fun... & it has been. :)

[Error: unknown template qotd] To the Pegasus Galaxy, specifically Atlantis. I don't really need to bring anything... John Sheppard's already there ;-). Oh, maybe I'd bring chocolate. That'd get me on everybody's good side.

Or I'd say to the Delta Quadrant, on the USS Voyager... but you didn't mention time travel. And of course, I want the answer to this question to be realistic, lol.
